Once you have created your account, added your team members and configured the essential items in your clinic, you can start making Video Call appointments with your patients/clients. Use your usual clinic software to book an appointment – healthdirect Video Call does not have an appointment booking system but can integrate with your clinic software.
Patients can start a Video Call through either:
- Your clinic link – the same link is used for all patients visiting your practice for a Video Call (it can be found on the right-hand side of your Video Call waiting area under ‘Share the link to your Waiting Area’)
- A button placed on your practice website (see how to place a button on your website).
Patients do not need any special software, passwords or individual links to access Video Call.
Email or text an appointment confirmation to your patient with either the clinic link or a button your website. Please see how to send an Email or SMS to your patients from our service.
