    Video Call Platform Role

    Organisation Administrator (Org Admin)
    • Invite and remove other Organisation Administrators
    • Invite and remove Organisation Coordinators
    • Invite and remove Organisation Reporters
    • Create new clinics
    • Add and manage team members and their permissions
    • Configure clinic settings including the clinic’s waiting area, call interface and Add-ons
    • Configure an organisation's call interface (filters down to all clinics)
    • Configure and run organisation reports
    • View, use and add meeting rooms
    • View, use and add individual user rooms
    • View and use waiting areas
    • Send the clinic link to patients and other callers
    • Join a Video Call from a clinic Waiting Area 
    Personnel with overall responsibility for enabling patient video call access to the organisation's service

    Example Roles:
    • Telehealth Manager
    • Telehealth Coordinator
    • Digital Health Lead
    • Digital Project Officer

    Organisation Coordinator
    • Invite and remove Organisation Coordinators and Organisation Reporters
    • Configure an organisation's call interface (filters down to all clinics)
    • Configure and run organisation reports
    • Create new clinics
    • Configure at the clinic level
    • Run clinic reports
    • View the list of clinics for the organisation
    • View and use waiting areas
    • Send the clinic link to patients and other callers
    Any admin role at the organisation level that requires access to organisation reporting and configuration with regard to healthdirect Video Call. 


    Organisation Reporter
    • Configure organisation reports
    • Run organisation reports
    • View a list of clinics under the organisation (but cannot access the clinics)
    Any admin role at the organisation level that requires access to organisation reporting with regard to healthdirect Video Call. This role would not require all the other configuration tasks associated with the Org Admin role. 
    Clinic Administrator (clinic admin)
    • Add and manage team members and their permissions
    • Configure clinic settings including the clinic’s waiting area, call interface and Add-ons
    • View and use waiting areas
    • Send the clinic link to patients and other callers
    • View, use and add meeting rooms
    • View, use and add individual user rooms
    • Join a Video Call from the Waiting Area 
    Personnel with overall responsibility for enabling patient video call access to a department/clinic of an organisation.  

    Example Roles:
    • Telehealth Administrator
    • Telehealth Coordinator
    • Digital Health Lead
    • Digital Project Officer
    Clinic Clerk

    • Add and manage team members and their permissions
    • Join a Video Call from the Waiting Area dashboard and conduct Video Call consultations.
    • Send the clinic link to patients and other callers
    • View and use waiting areas
    • View and use meeting rooms
    • View and use individual user room
    Example roles: 
    Junior admin staff
    Clinicians who need to add colleagues to their team
    Digital project officers who do not need to access other configuration options
    Team Member (in clinic/s)
    • Join a Video Call from the Waiting Area dashboard and conduct Video Call consultations.
    • View and use waiting areas
    • Send the clinic link to patients and other callers
    • View and use meeting rooms
    • View and use individual user room
    • View and use available group rooms

    Health service providers using Video Call to provide consultations to patients.  

    Example Roles:
    • Clinicians
    • Specialists 
    Service Referrer
    This role is an additional role for users who are already a team member or admin in a clinic. Service Referrers cannot access the clinic waiting area when their role is a service referrer in that clinic.
    • Transfer callers to another waiting area where they have service referrer access, from their clinic waiting area (where they are a team member) or from within a Video Call.


    Example scenarios:

    • A clinician or other service provider referring a call to another clinic's waiting area from within a call with a patient.
    • A reception staff member checking a patient's details are correct and then transferring to another clinic waiting area.
    Staff that can transfer calls into a Waiting Area from their primary Waiting Area/s. A service Referrer is already a Video Call account holder with either a Team Admin or Team Member role in their clinic.

    Example Roles:
    • Clinic coordinators
    • Receptionist
    • Clinician
