    Send a notification to a waiting patient

    What Video Call platform role do I need: Team Member, Team Administrator or Organisation Administrator

    Notify an individual patient in the Waiting Area by sending them a message

    To send a notification to a waiting patient before they are joined in a Video Call consultation - for example, to let a patient know that the clinic is running late - you can use the Notify function.

    1. From your Waiting Area dashboard, select the caller you want to send a notification to and click on the 3 dots to the right of their Caller Card. Then select Notify.
    2. Type a custom notification to the caller in the dialogue box and click send.
    3. You will see a number in a small blue circle to the right of the 3 dots indicating how many notifications have been sent to that caller.
    4. The caller will receive your notification in their screen while they are waiting to be seen.

    Please note: The waiting Area has a new design from Sept 10th, 2021. The new look is different to that shown in the video below, however the workflow and functionality described remains the same. Notify is now found by clicking on the 3 dots to the right of the caller card, as described above. This video will be updated ASAP.
