Type in text and add links in the chat window

Click on the chat icon to send messages within a Video Call. All participants can see and type chat messages and there is an option to download the messages as a text file for your records.

Please note, you cannot paste images or QR codes into the chat.

To send a chat message:

Click on the chat icon in the bottom right of your call screen to open the chat drawer.

Paste in or type a message and press Enter to send the message.

Please note, weblinks pasted into the chat are clickable by all participants in the call.

To download the chat messages:

Click on Download chat at the bottom of the chat window before the call ends. This will download as a text file and can be added to the patient's record, if desired.

Chat - typing indicator
There is an indication message that displays when a Video Call participant is typing in the chat window. This improves the chat functionality for all participants in a call, alerting them that a question or comment is being typed.
