Refresh Connections during your call

Information regarding the Refresh Connections button in the Video Call screen

Refreshing connections during your Video Call helps restore the media connections, if required, without the need to leave and rejoin the call. You can refresh the call connections if any media (video or audio in the call) issues arise, to help resolve the issue.

When you press the refresh connections button you will see a confirmation screen informing you that you are about to refresh the call.  It is good practice to let other participants in the call know that if you are experienceing any media issues and to let them know you are about to refresh the connection to the call.

If you experience media issues during a Video Call, let other participants know and then press the Refresh Connections button (next to the hang-up button).
The confirmation screen will display. You can then confirm by pressing Refresh My Connection.
You will see this message while the call is being re-established.
The connections will refresh and this will usually fix any media issues you are experiencing.
